4tissimo is one of the leading string quartets in the Midlands. Some 12 years and six hundred engagements later, the original members still maintain their passion for this style of music and their enjoyment of playing with each other.

The repertoire of 4tissimo is wide and varied. It consists of a wide range of popular classical music, such as Bach’s ‘Air on a G String’ and Handel’s ‘Arrival of the Queen of Sheba’. On the lighter side of things, Gershwin, Cole Porter and popular show tunes often sound very good. We have arrangements of pop songs, from Beatles to recent chart hits.
